GrammarPoll will feature questions on grammar usage, seeking the opinions of students and teachers using the Guide to Grammar and Writing. The questions will change every sixty days or so. Because the Guide can be used by anyone with a networked computer, no claim is made for the scientific validity or significance of this poll.

The word "quality" used to be strictly a noun, like "quantity." Now it is often used as an adjective, as in "a quality education." Should we accept this usage?
No, not until we're willing to use "quantity" similarly, as in "a quantity courseload."
It should be acceptable, but in speech only.
Give up; language changes. When well-respected journalists use it as an adjective, it becomes standard.
